COLLIE X, FEMALE
APPROX 14 MONTHS
Rosie is keeping her paws crossed to find her third and final home! She has come in to us from a private home where her owners were unable to provide enough mental and physical stimulation for her active little Collie brain, which meant she found other ways to occupy herself such as singing to the neighbours which did not go down well.
In her home prior to this she was being left long hours because of working patterns so this poor pup needs to find a paw-fect home!
Rosie is a typical active Collie, she loves to be out and about keeping busy - her number one favourite thing is tennis balls! Rosie will do anything and everything for a tennis ball, she loves to fetch and will bring it back to you.. well at least half way to you then lie in wait for you to throw it again!
Lead work has come on really well since she first stepped through the door, now with a firm handler she will walk beautifully to heel but if she is given half the chance she will pull you in the direction she fancies - usually towards the playpen!
Rosie loves a cuddle in her kennel, she hates to see you leave and would very much like to find a human who doesn't like to leave her too long either!
We would definitely suggest dog training for this little lady, to expand her knowledge and learn her basic commands as she loves to please!
We have found that other dogs aren't a priority for her, she has walked round with plenty of dogs and can react to some of the more high energy ones but generally she is looking for the next opportunity to play ball!
We would suggest she be the only animal in the home, at least until she's settled into her fur-ever home.
No young children due to her bouncy puppy energy and not cat tested.
If you think you can offer ROSIE the home she so deserves, please contact the kennels on
