THANK YOU...

Boot Buddy Ltd - We would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to Boot Buddy Ltd who have very kindly given us three huge boxes of vetbed for our dogs! Here is Mona proudly showing them all off!!!
Big thank you from all of our four legged residents, they will all be treated to a nice new soft bed!

Huge thanks to the Taylor family who brought up a cheque today for a mahoosive £470 that was raised by members of Severn Lodge and their guests! Lovely to meet you all and very special thanks for nominating us to receive this amazing donation xx

Morrison's Kidderminster
Many thanks to Morrison’s in Kidderminster and to their wonderful customers for these great donations, really appreciated by us and our 4 legged friends.
Thanks again everyone for your kindness and generosity

Sharon Burnell
Thank you to Sharon for collecting almost £300 for us. This amazing lady transforms her front room into a Christmas wonderland. Sharon takes over a month to arrange this awesome display and then opens her doors for people to come and visit. You could literally spend hours looking at all the intricate details and even then you would still miss things! Sharon collects donations from people who come to visit and this year the proceeds came to us. Thank you once again - can't wait to visit next year!!

PADDY
CROSSBREED, MALE
APPROX 6 YEARS

This gentle giant has come in from another rescue as a stray so unfortunately no background history. He was originally frightened to death of the lead but after a lot of hard work getting him used to a harness he is now happy to walk around not only on a harness but also on a lead. :)

Paddy's confidence has come on dramatically since coming in to kennels, from being a wary, timid dog he has now blossomed in to a confident, chilled out boy who takes everything in his stride.

On the lead surprisingly he walks beautifully by your side.. if anything a little too close to your side.. he thinks he is the size of a chihuahua! He has even began to go out with some of our volunteer walkers who praise him highly on his lead-work.

The vast majority of the time Paddy is a placid, laid back kinda boy but occasionally in the playpen, play time takes over and his inner puppy comes out. Once charged and ready to play he can be boisterous and still mouths but not out of malice, we don't know what this poor lad has had to endure before coming to us so we are trying to teach him to be more gentle rather then rein in his excitement. For this reason we would recommend either no children or older children, just in case he gets a bit much for tiny tots, after all he is a big boy and still manages to unintentially  shove staff out the way when trying to negotiate around kennel doors! :)

We are looking for a dog free home for Paddy, he's not a big fan of other dogs, he generally keeps himself to himself plodding about the field doing his own thing but he can react when dogs come too close to him specially those of a higher energy.

With some training, time and guidance we feel that Paddy will continue to improve and become a fab companion for someone who likes their walks and home comforts as much as Paddy!

Not cat tested and no young children.

If you think you can offer PADDY the home he so deserves, please contact the kennels on
01299 269 181

Thank you!
